Lewis University Gospel Rap Performance

During the semester I performed in the Gospel Choir concert. I was honored to be invited to rap as a guest. The following is the lyrics to the first part of my performance. Enjoy!

Like yeezy making beats and coming out the Chi ain't easy 

But I do it like it is Cause I'm Young Reesey

And I stay connected with My God cause he needs me 

And I need him in my head I hum a hymn 

Give and take with me and him 

No mistakes I see in him

Got too much on my plate I come to him and then I scrape 

In his image I was made 

So ima serve him to my grave 

And this music is my way

No matter what my lyrics I say  

I got the lord deep in my heart

And though we're sinners everyday 

With his forgiveness we restart 

Cause with God with All things are possible 

So there's no fear at all

Whether you 6 foot or bout 5'5'' with God you standing tall

I'm blessed with creativity so I serve him with my art 

Since days of Kim possible I was learning bout the ark 

His love is like a drug and I'm fiending like addict 

Going to the top like a attic 

Cause I just stay at it I see no stopping 

If the praise go up then the blessings is dropping praise to the most high 

Jesus my lord and savior 

If I need sum send up a prayer 

Love like his is just so rare 

I'm so blessed cause I live in favor

No fear in me cause Gods here 

My minds clear no demons reside here, Yeah

God told me just stay beside him 

And one day them gates will open and we'll ride in 

Stay prayed up and and lift praise 

For god my minds been made up
