A Past Love Poem
Here is a love poem that I wrote during a past relationship. Enjoy!
I sit and think at night about all the things that don't matter
And after while my mind turns to things that do
From colleges to jobs to closed doors with no knobs
Then my mind focuses on you
Why is that you might ask
Well now the answer is so simple
It's cause you've taught me how to be nimble
Flexible through the twists and turns of this life
I want
I wanna buy you a ring that cost as much as a Beamer
I wanna put a smile on your face that magazines would beg for you to grace
Then I wanna be the first to win the race
The race for your love
The race to be the first man you think of
The race to be your first and your last
And together we can erase the past and create a new future to last
